Alana De La Garza has made a name for herself on the television. In 1976 De La Garza was born to a Mexican American father and an Irish-American mother in Columbus Ohio. The next year was not long after when she relocated to Texas. There, she began a career in physical therapy. De La Garza did not remain in Texas for very long, and she quickly relocated in Orlando Florida, where she was able to take on various acting roles, including independent local commercials as well as films. Even the small roles did not stop her from finding out that she loved acting. Following her move to New York, in 2001 she got her first role as an actor for the television show All My Children. Through the first half of the decade, she appeared in small part for JAG Vegas and Two and a Half Men. In 2004, her debut big-screen series aired on The Mountain.
