Christopher Peter Meloni has been an acclaimed American actor throughout his career. Most famously, he is famous for his roles performed in "Law & Ordinance Special Victims Unit". In college, he began to develop an interest in acting. In the University of Colorado at Boulder, he studied acting. While he's appeared in both films and television, but it was his character on the smaller screen that gave him popularity and much admirers. He is able to play two characters, one from the perspective of the police and the different. That's what makes him so popular. He portrayed the role of a serial murderer in his first television series project but later went on to portray the character as an NYPD detective. Because of his portrayal on the small screen, he's been nominated several times for the prestigious Emmy Awards. The most appealing feature of his face is believed to be his distinctive blue eyes, which are considered to be his trademark. They have aided in depicting rough characters with charisma. In 2006, he appeared on People's Magazine's Sexiest Men Alive list.
