Selena Gomez has a worldwide fame as an actress and singer. Her Disney series Wizards of Waverly Place is one of her biggest success projects. Selena Marie Gomez has a full name. Born on July 22 the 22nd of July, 1993 in Grand Prairie Texas. Amanda Cornett and Ricardo Gomez were her parents. Her mother was barely 16 at the time Selena became a mother. She got her first showbiz job at age 9 in the role of Gianna as Gianna in Barney and her Friends. Thus she became one of the children who were the only historical anthropomorphic dinosaur, the purple one. Selena participated in the show's the seasons 7 and 8. The time period was 2001 to 2003.
